Sofia airport is just over an hours drive away from Rila Mountain Lodge.
Several European airlines fly to Sofia on a regular basis with flights from all major airports and some regional ones.
The good news is that prices are coming down now that the Budget airlines have come on stream.

FROM SOFIA TO GOVEDARTSI
The journey time from Sofia airport is just over an hour. During the ski season we will arrange your transfers at a very reasonable price. If you are renting one of our apartments during the summer we would advise you to hire a car.
There are also several companies that run private minibuses from the airport
